Altissia, a leading global player in distance language learning, is looking for a passionate Business Developer who will build partnerships with new customers and ensure the long-term success of our business strategy.

Your main responsibility will be to identify new sales leads within schools and universities, to pitch our services and to create long-term relationships with these potential customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the successful growth of our business. This position is based in Paris, France.

Your Mission

  • Identify new sales leads, contact them via email or phone and schedule presentation meetings;
  • Pitch Altissia’s services and adapt to customer’s business and expectations;
  • Draft, share and follow-up on commercial proposals;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve growth objectives;
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships in the education sector;
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers;
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders;
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Forecast and track key account metrics;
  • Answer requirements for tenders and training plans;
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer wishes and goals.

 

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent;
  • You are fluent in French and English;
  • Proven ability to close deals while paying strict attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization;
  • 5+ years of sales development experience;
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
  • Able to work autonomously as well as in a team;
  • Willingness to travel across the country;
  • Advanced Office tools skills as well as very good knowledge and interest in IT in general.
